Dakota Dicheva continues to live up to the hype.
Winner of the 2023 PFL Europe Series, Dicheva (11-0) proved he is more than ready to step up to the 2024 PFL regular season. On Thursday at 2024 PFL 1, Dicheva defeated her opponent Lisa Mauldin by TKO stoppage, 6-4, in Round 1:
Mauldin did his best to fend off Ditcheva's repeated attacks, but in the end, a body shot was the beginning of the end. As Ditcheva swarmed, Mauldin covered and referee Jacob Montalbo intervened.
With this win, Dicheva gained six points in the women's flyweight rankings.
Dicheva, 25, earned her ticket to the PFL regular season with three wins in the PFL European tournament. Dicheva has competed in 11 professional fights and has 10 finishes, including nine by knockout.
Mauldin, 33, remains undefeated under the PFL banner with wins over Helen Peralta and Desiree Yanez.
