Since 1987, “Sunday Night Football” has served as the perfect nightcap to enjoy a full day of NFL games.
The first Sunday night matchup of the 2024 regular season will see the Detroit Lions take on the Los Angeles Rams in a rematch of the NFC Wild Card Game. In it, the Lions won their first playoff game in 32 years, ending the league's longest postseason win drought.
The Chicago Bears will face off against the Houston Texans in a Week 2 matchup that will feature 2024 No. 1 overall pick, Bears QB Caleb Williams, against 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year Texans QB CJ Stroud.
