2 Tone Boxing Club held a grand opening event May 4 to show off its new facility at 23533 Mercantile Road, Suite 109 in Beachwood.
Though not far from its original location, the new space gave the club the opportunity to expand and enhance its services, and the move allowed the team to keep its promise of providing a friendly environment for the community to train, according to a news release.
The event included football practice, a wrestling clinic and a flag football game. In addition to the activities, the club also showcased two major additions to its program roster: a comprehensive off-season football camp and a dynamic wrestling program aimed at both beginners and experienced young athletes.
The club also announced the hiring of new coaches, including local experts who will lead off-season football camps. The club has more than 100 years of combined boxing coaching experience that will contribute to player development and the team's skill development, the release said.
The programs are designed to help members of all ages and abilities who are battling anxiety, obesity and other challenges, according to the release. The club's mission is to empower people to face personal challenges through participation in competitive boxing, wrestling and football, according to the release.
