#17 UNH Men's Hockey begins Wednesday Hockey East Tournament against Massachusetts Lowell School
Worth $38.5 million. this offseason. The hockey postseason begins Wednesday with a game for the 17th ranked UNH men's team. In order to aim for a spot in the D-1 tournament, they will need to perform well in the conference tournament. It starts with the Hockey East season opener against a team they've beaten twice. The Wildcats defeated the River Hawks by four goals in both games over the weekend against Umas Lowell. They have to do it again Wednesday at 7, but they're happy to have this game in their building this season with 13-year-olds, 4-year-olds and 1-year-olds. It's always fun to play here, but I think going through the last-minute changes and everything that comes with being the home team gives you a little advantage, but not a lot. When the puck falls, let the kids solve it. Yeah, obviously it's been a while since we've had a home game here. We've been really successful at home this year and had really good fan support, so we're looking forward to that on Wednesday. Anytime you have to beat a team three times in a row, it's difficult. The preparations are complete. You know, the playoffs are a whole different game. So, uh
