Team USA Basketball continues to fine-tune the roster of the Women's Olympic Team for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. The latest roster for July's Olympics includes 14 female hoops stars, including a surprising twist.
After several exhibition games, training camps in Atlanta and New York, and an Olympic qualifying tournament, Team USA Basketball is closing in on representing the United States in Paris. The coaching staff invited 14 players to training camp April 3-5 in Cleveland, Ohio. The camp roster includes 13 current WNBA hoopers and one college hooper, Caitlin Clark.
Clark is tentatively scheduled to participate in training camp, but that remains to be determined until Iowa advances to the NCAA Tournament. In addition, Duke women's basketball head coach Carla Lawson has also been confirmed as an assistant head coach, pending Duke's progress in the NCAA Tournament.
